A Christmas Magic
“A Christmas Magic” is the largest indoor Christmas park in Italy, open from December 7, 2023 to January 7, 2024 at the Allianz MiCo in Milan (City Life).
Occupying an indoor space of more than 20,000 square meters and with an additional outdoor part, “A Christmas Magic” is configured as a universe immersed in lights, advanced technology and brand new attractions inspired by Christmas: an immersive experience to live, explore and share, created to amaze, excite and entertain an audience of all ages.
This colossal space has been transformed into an unparalleled enchanted place wrapped in a magical and evocative atmosphere. Strongly supported by Clemente Zard and produced by Vivo Concerti, the project was born from the creativity of Giò Forma and gives the city of Milan the magnificence of the great theme parks of international level.
Idea
“A Christmas Magic” promises to offer a unique multi-sensory experience: from the enveloping melodies to the fairy-tale lighting, from the evocative flavors of traditional delicacies to the touch of the materials chosen for the attractions, everything is designed to excite the senses in the round and make the visitor the protagonist of an unforgettable journey. Step by step, one is drawn into a total immersion designed to surprise, move and entertain.
Work
Under the artistic direction of Claudio Santucci of Giò Forma and his team, we created an extraordinary visual experience through the creation and production of video content designed to be an integral part of “A Christmas Magic” and to amplify visitors’ sensory immersion.
Video projections were designed for the Flake statue located at the entrance, welcoming visitors with a visual narrative that blends magic and wonder, introducing the Christmas atmosphere that pervades the park.
Inside the enchanted forest, we created projections that transform the space into a fantasy world, where trees and the surrounding landscape come to life in a sequence of scenes that tell Christmas stories imbued with magic and light.
The Northern Lights Tunnel is another masterpiece of visual design: with projections simulating the natural phenomenon of the Northern Lights and the passage of Santa’s sleigh, visitors are transported to a dreamlike dimension where the line between dream and reality blurs.
Finally, for the gift factory ledwall located on the gift hill, we developed video content showing the fascinating process of creating Christmas gifts. Here, technology and creativity come together to represent the beating heart of a modern, enchanted Santa’s workshop.
