Our experience "Out of the Crowd"
“Fuori dal Coro” is the daily strip of information and current affairs conducted by the journalist Mario Giordano, which aims to give voice to the most unconventional and particular opinions.
The brief for the promo of the new season tributes a scene from one of our favorite Cohen brothers movies, “The Big Lebowsky”.
Working with Rete4 and the Mediaset group was a great experience, there was a lot of collaboration and fatigue, from the moment of the shooting at their studios to the whole post-production process.
1.Idea
In this “dream sequence” the request was to materialize the “worries” of Mario Giordano tying the text to the paratext.
2.Work
In order to have more control and a better yield, we decided to realize entirely the environment in 3D, using mixed techniques between Houdini, Unreal Engine and Blender.
